Hot meals aboard the Spirit of the Outback can be served individually or ordered as part of a meal package. Breakfast
- The Tucker Box hot breakfast
Your choice of cereal and juice served with a bowl of fresh fruit salad. Poached, fried or scrambled eggs served with bacon, tomato and toast.
- Starlights eggs on toast
Your choice of cereal and juice. Poached, fried or scrambled eggs served with grilled tomato and freshly cooked toast.
- Stockman's continental with fruit or yoghurt
Your choice of fresh fruit salad or a tub of yoghurt served with your choice of cereal, juice and 2 slices of freshly cooked toast with preserves.

- Cold collation
Freshly prepared garden salad served with sliced ham, roast beef and silverside, drizzled in a balsamic vinegarette dressing.
- Meatlovers loaded potato
Oven baked potato topped with Mexican beef or crispy bacon, grated cheese, sour cream, shallots. Served with a fresh tossed salad.
- Marinated chicken with salad
Chicken breast marinated in a honey and mustard sauce. Served with a garden salad and beer battered wedges topped with a dollop of sour cream and shallots.
- Vegetarian loaded potato
Oven baked potato topped with grated cheese, coleslaw, shallots and a dollop of sour cream. Served with a fresh tossed salad.
- Gourmet Aussie burger
Chefs original beef pattie served on a fresh bun with lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion and beetroot, accompanied by beer battered wedges topped with a dollop of sour cream and schallots.

- Rocky rump steak
Tender grilled rump steak served with a creamy mushroom sauce, roast potato, pumpkin and a peas and corn medley.

Special Dietary menu
Adult Meal: $11.00
Child Meal: $7.70
Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D) packages consist of a main course meal with a dessert consisting of diced fruit. Meals include a standard or gluten free breas roll / bread & butter or rice crackers (celiac).
All requests for special dietary meals must be finalised with Traveltrain reservations and paid for no later than four days prior to departure. Meals in Queenslander Class are included in the fare, but four days notice is still required. All meals consist of a main meal (with bread roll) and a dessert. Your Traveltrain consultant will advise you from which car your meal will be available. Please call 1300 131 722 to arrange your special dietry meal.
