Itinerary
Day 1
Setting off early from Broome, we travel through the vast Kimberley outback to Purnululu National Park. This spectacular wilderness park is the home of the Bungle Bungle Ranges. (L,D)
Day 2
Today, explore the Bungle Bungle Ranges, with the first stop at the stunning Echidna Chasm, known for towering Livistonia Palms. Then travel to the southern side of the Bungle Bungle Massif to the natural amphitheatre setting of Cathedral Gorge. (B,L,D)
Day 3
Departing early from camp, travel onto Fitzroy Crossing and arrive at Geikie Gorge to enjoy a picnic lunch. Take a cruise down the mighty Fitzroy River through Geikie Gorge. (B,L,D)
Day 4
First stop today is at one of the Kimberley’s most famous landmarks, the Prison Boab Tree. Then travel along the legendary “Gibb River Road”, once used as the main stock route for the region. Following afternoon tea, set off back to Broome. (B,L)
