Itinerary

Day 1
Make your way to the Hunter Valley. On arrival, relax and settle into your hotel before heading to dinner. (D)

Day 2
Enjoy a full day wine tour of some of the boutique vineyards throughout the Hunter Valley. (B,L,D)

Day 3
Enjoy a free day to either head back to the vineyards or to further explore the Hunter. There is more to this region than just wines, so why not head to the Hunter Gardens for a picnic lunch, or simply wander the shops and cafés of Polkibin (B)

Day 4
Spend the morning in the grounds of your hotel or walk to the Pepper Tree Vineyard, before being transferred to Sydney where you’ll join Captain Cook Cruises for a weekend cruise of Sydney Harbour. As the city lights begin to shine, depart for a glittering dinner cruise. Tonight, anchor in Farm Cove by the shores of the Botanic Gardens and close to the famous sails of the Sydney Opera House. (B,D)

Day 5
Start your day with a quick trip to Man o’ War Steps beside the Opera House and a morning stroll through the Botanic Gardens. Once back on board, head for the upper reaches of the Parramatta and Lane Cove Rivers. The afternoon brings some time exploring Sydney’s historic Rocks district. Then, set sail across the harbour and anchor off the northern foreshore. (B,L,D)

Day 6
The early morning crew is out again – this time for a walk through the bush and the old artillery emplacements on Bradley’s Head. The mid-morning cruise takes you into the territory of Sydney’s rich and famous – the eastern suburbs. Lunch is served al fresco on the top deck as you cruise back to Darling Harbour. (B,L,D)

On arrival back in Sydney, the choice is yours. Add an extra night of excitement in Sydney or reluctantly make your way home. (B,L)
